“Maggie was incredible.
I had a lot of anxiety leading up to my birth, and Maggie was available to talk me through some of my concerns. My vision was to have an unmedicated natural birth, and I knew that that would be really taxing on my husband as the sole support person. When we got Maggie signed on to work with us, I was happy to know both my husband and I would have more support before, during, and after labor.
My birth was extremely intense and more painful than I ever would have imagined. The position of the baby made everything much more difficult. I got admitted to the hospital earlier than expected due to some minor concerns of the babies heart rate. After laboring for hours at home and in the hospital, I felt defeated as things weren't progressing like I wanted and I was in excruciating pain with every contraction. I felt hopeless when I had told my husband that I needed to change my birth plan and receive the epidural. Although there is nothing wrong with the epidural, this was exactly the opposite of my vision and my birth plan
When Maggie showed up, I had completely forgotten that I had told my husband I was going to ask for it, and was able to proceed unmedicated. Her calm presence and reassurance during the whole process is what helped get me through. She was extremely hands on and provided counter pressure for every single contraction. She must have been exhausted! At the end of labor, some complications arose, and she helped me remain as calm as I possibly could given the situation.
Although everything didn't go as planned, she helped me accept that my birth was still very beautiful. She helped me accept the changes as they had to unfold and happen. I am excited to book her for some more support as we navigate postpartum as first time parents.” Roxanne, Jacob, and baby Desmond

“Magdalena was truly a dream come true during my pregnancy and beyond. Without her, I would have felt very alone and unprepared for the challenges of labor and the journey that awaited me and my soon-to-be-born daughter. Her guidance has been invaluable—she connected me with essential resources like birthing, breastfeeding, and postpartum classes, and even prenatal acupuncture. Magdalena also showed me different techniques to help position my baby and encourage her to arrive naturally.
She was by my side during every crucial moment, attending doctor’s appointments, accompanying me all three times to the hospital, and even being there for our final ultrasound. Her presence made me feel empowered and understood. Magdalena took the time to help me comprehend the entire process, and she has continued to be a significant support as I navigate my daughter's thyroid condition.
Having Magdalena with me was and still is exactly what I needed—her nurturing, loving support has made me come to see her as a sister. Her impact on my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience has been profound. Everyone should have a doula like Magdalena. We love you!” - Crystal

“We couldn't have had the birth we wanted without Maggie! I immediately resonated with Maggie's calm presence when I first met her. When I got diagnosed with gestational diabetes she re-assured me and sent me very helpful resources. During the entire journey Maggie was always available if anything came up. During labor and delivery, she was a calm presence that helped me stay calm as well. She explained the options we had every step of the way and advocated for what I wanted. The best part was when she came up with on the spot a breathing technique that immensely helped my pushing stage. My birth experience was better than I could have hoped for, and we couldn't have had the birth we wanted without Maggie.” - Anya
“Having Magdalena as our postpartum doula has been an absolute blessing. From the very first day, Magdalena made sure that my family and I felt cared for and supported in exactly the ways we needed. She is incredibly kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable, always offering gentle guidance and reassurance. Her experience with babies shines through!
As a first time mama, the early weeks of motherhood have been a whirlwind, and having her support has made such a difference. She has been coming to our home several times a week, helping with everything from cleaning, drying, and sanitizing pump parts to doing my daughter’s laundry things that seem small but make a world of difference in the postpartum haze.
Magdalena’s presence in our home has brought a sense of calm and comfort, allowing me to focus on bonding with my baby while knowing that I have an extra set of loving, capable hands when I need them. We are so grateful to have found her and cannot recommend her enough to any new mama looking for support!”
